Job Description:

Mission Overview:

Join Keystone Solutions as an Agile Tester consultant to work on a consultancy mission at a client site. You will be part of Keystone Solutions’ recruitment-driven consulting community while delivering high-impact testing expertise directly within the client’s agile development environment. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will retain full accountability for the responsibilities and requirements described below, collaborating closely with the client’s teams to ensure quality at every stage.

The client is a key player in mobility offering 811 parking lots across 9 European countries. In order to better serve its 100 million annual customers, the client is transforming to become a more digitally oriented player. To support this undertaking, we are looking to strengthen agile development teams with strong Agile Testers.

CONTEXT

The tester will be member of the QA team among several test specialists. On a daily basis, he will collaborate within agile development tribes composed of:

  • Tribe leader
  • Architect
  • Developers
  • Analyst/Product Owner
  • Testers


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for functional and/or automated testing activities.
  • Contribute to improving efficiency throughout the software development lifecycle, with a focus on both functional and automated testing.
  • Act as an ambassador for best testing practices within the tribe.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to review user story acceptance criteria, translate them into test cases, and gather the necessary information to verify that the application meets functional and non-functional requirements and expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain test cases and test scripts.
  • Assess software test readiness at both API and GUI levels.
  • Execute technical and functional tests.
  • Support the maintenance of testing frameworks and development environments; track and report defects in a structured manner, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
  • Collaborate with other testers on cross-domain testing to verify integration and ensure non-regression across components delivered by different teams.
  • Identify defects, report them, follow up on their resolution, and validate fixes.

All of the above responsibilities will be carried out as a Keystone Solutions consultant, embedded with the client’s teams under our consultancy model.


Required Skills and Profile:

  • We are looking for individuals with a proven track record (minimum 2 years) in software testing and an interest or experience in test automation.
  • Ideally, the candidate has experience working in an Agile/Scrum context with:
  • ISTQB and agile certifications
  • Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies, functional and regression testing, software QA tools and processes
  • Sound knowledge of change management tools, CI/CD, programming technologies and automated testing fundamental concepts
  • Knowledge of the agile software development cycle
  • Solid IT development and design background is desired
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting and Payment domains is a plus.

We expect from the candidate strong technical skills:

  • Proven experience on test at technical level, that require capability on activities like creating dedicated scripts to generate manipulate large amount of test data, identifying/extract test data and generate synthetic data,
  • Do some quick win test automation at technical level,
  • Communication skills at technical level to talk & align with developers,
  • Analysis capability to define the most pertinent test scenario adapted to target the testing level (unit, integration, system)

All requirements above will be performed in close collaboration with the client as part of Keystone Solutions’ consultancy engagements.

  • Continuous integration platform
  • .NET Development environment

  • Serviceinsights (Logs and monitoring)
  • EAI: REST API, Webservice, Service bus
  • API Testing: Postman, Code base HTTP client
  • DATABASE: SQL Querying

Experience with or similar is desired:

  • GUI Testing: Selenium, Ranorex, Playwright
  • Test design: MBT (Yest)
  • Unit testing framework (MSTest or equivalent)


Languages Required:

  • French or/and Dutch is/are an advantage
