Mission Overview:


Keystone Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer for a consultancy mission at a client site. This role involves providing multidisciplinary technical support and acting as a knowledge bearer within the organization. You will contribute to the efficient operation of the team while working on innovative projects that have a significant societal impact.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Function as a knowledge bearer and provide technical advice to internal and external parties to ensure efficient operations.
  • Keep existing knowledge up to date and secure undocumented knowledge.
  • Draft and maintain technical specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with the manager and team leaders.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and develop scenarios to optimize operations.
  • Challenge established standards and engage with various stakeholders.
  • Oversee projects for optimization as a project leader or team member.
  • Implement modifications to existing installations to ensure optimal operations and prevent issues.
  • Coordinate work on installations/buildings (e.g., ventilation, confinement).
  • Develop ideas from discussions with team leaders and operators.
  • Ensure quality control of executed works.
  • Document processes and installations to secure knowledge and ensure safe operations.
  • Create and maintain safety reports.
  • Prepare internal documents (e.g., permit applications, IPA’s, MOC’s, action plans).
  • Monitor and report on the progress of operations to ensure timely completion and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Report progress to the hierarchy and relevant authorities (e.g., Bel V, NIRAS).
  • Achieve and monitor KPIs.
  • Provide input for operational planning.
  • Identify, analyze, and address problems while seeking solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Frame problems and map out possible solutions.
  • Collaborate with supporting services and track progress.

Profile Requirements:


  • Strong affinity with chemical processes (e.g., separation processes).
  • Technical and mechanical insight to bridge communication between stakeholders.
  • Experience in process development, preferably in an R&D environment, is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge of working with remote systems and manipulators in a hotcell environment is a strong asset.
