Mission Overview:


Keystone Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a consultancy mission at a client site. The client is working on a modern data platform to share high-quality health-related information. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in developing various components of this data platform, including a data validation engine and a master data hub, utilizing Azure Databricks and DevOps practices.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Perform functional analysis of the project's data requirements.
  • Design, build, and deploy a data hub connected to several referentials and master data sources, including specific CRUD and data transformation functionalities.
  • Develop and maintain REST interfaces and connector services supporting data exchange, configuration, validation, and integration with the data platform.
  • Participate in the development of a data validation engine solution to check data quality of different external data sources.
  • Test the developed solution, conduct troubleshooting, provide maintenance, and adequate technical documentation.
  • Conduct prototype reviews and demos, including training for users.
  • Work with the Project Leader throughout the project lifecycle to ensure appropriate delivery in an agile and pragmatic approach.

Technical Skills:


  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer in the Microsoft BI stack (Visual Studio, SSIS, SQL Server from a development perspective).
  • Data functional analysis experience.
  • Good experience in Azure Databricks & Python.
  • Experience in REST API is a plus.
  • Experience with data analytics design (Kimball dimensional modeling).
  • Experience in master data management and data quality controls is definitely a plus.
  • Experience in working in an agile project mode is a plus.
