Job Description:

Mission Overview:

This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Business Analyst within the Transformation Office. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be engaged in dynamic projects, working on-site and collaborating with diverse teams to deliver impactful results for our client in the financial sector.


Mission Context:

Within the Risk & Credits tribe, the risk cluster is responsible for the setup of risk data and calculation infrastructure. Multiple projects are currently managed by risk squads, including the evolution of the central risk calculator, new versions of acquisition scoring and automated decision models, implementation of CRR3 parameters, and more. The objective is to further consolidate risk calculations in a single calculator, enabling better model implementation, integration, and cost reduction through simplification and reuse. The current focus is on extending the calculator's functionality to support credit acquisition, credit risk monitoring, reporting, and regulatory capital management.


Responsibilities:

  • Enable a business process monitoring framework, initially focused on batch processing.
  • Translate business requirements from the Risk department into detailed specifications, including functional analysis (system requirements) and technical analysis (pseudo-code).
  • Develop SQL queries (Sybase IQ) as part of report development.
  • Use SQL queries (SQL Server, Oracle) for testing and analysis purposes.
  • Document data transformation (ETL) rules.
  • Support developers in translating business/functional requirements into C#.

Language Requirements:

  • Dutch: Fluent/good in speaking and understanding, basic/good in writing (required at least for either Dutch or French).
  • French: Fluent/good in speaking and understanding, basic/good in writing (required at least for either Dutch or French).
  • English: Fluent in writing, good in speaking and understanding.

Education:

  • Graduate or college (university) degree preferred.
  • Good math skills, comfortable with simple to medium complexity mathematical notation.
  • Focus on mathematics in education or professional experience.

Work Model:

  • Expectation: 50% on-site, 50% homeworking.

Required Experience / Knowledge:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in functional analysis and development.
  • Technical experience (mandatory):
    • Medium to expert knowledge of standard MS tools and technologies: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
    • Thorough SQL experience.
    • Functional and technical analysis skills.
    • Testing capabilities.
    • Experience in large scale IT development, with C# and SQL.
    • Expertise in data/process analysis, requirements documentation, and testing.
  • Technical experience (preferable):
    • Experience with C# programming.
    • Experience with XML/SOAP.
    • Experience in implementation of business rules and machine learning models.
  • Business experience (mandatory):
    • Experience working in a large company or complex business environment.
  • Business experience (preferable):
    • Credit/credit risk knowledge (CRR3, MCD, etc.).
    • Economics and/or mathematics background.
    • Knowledge of the client environment (business side and/or IT department).
