Job Description:

Mission Overview:

Are you ready to take on the role of Project Leader in a dynamic governmental organization focused on fostering a caring community in Flanders? Do you have the experience and skills to successfully manage a complex project? Do you enjoy collaborating with motivated colleagues and specialized suppliers? If so, you might be the candidate we are looking for.

Our client is developing a system for invitations, reservations, and reminders for vaccinations, similar to the systems used during the COVID-19 pandemic but designed for broader application, including regular vaccinations. This system is part of the crisis resilience that the Department of Care is building. To support this development, they are seeking a part-time internal project leader through Keystone Solutions.

Where You Will Work:

You will join the IT team within the Communication and IT department. Your primary collaboration will be with members of the Crisis Preparedness Cell (CPC), the vaccination team, and the IT non-profit organization Smals.

The CPC assists the government in being well-prepared for health and welfare crises, such as pandemics or environmental disasters. The vaccination team coordinates vaccination policy in Flanders and ensures that doctors and vaccinators receive free vaccines to protect vulnerable groups, such as young children and the elderly.

Our office is conveniently located near the North Station in Brussels, making it easily accessible. We typically work two to three days a week from home.

Responsibilities:

As a consultant representing Keystone Solutions, you will support the CPC and the vaccination team in further high-level analysis of needs and ensure these needs are validated by the steering committee, considering the available budget. You will methodically document the requirements (via user stories and epics) and coordinate with other teams involved in this project (legal, communication, IT, etc.).

Subsequently, you will act as a bridge between the Department of Care and the analysis and development team at Smals. Specifically, you will:

  • Attend sprint meetings with the end-user group and determine which backlog items will be prioritized.
  • Monitor the budget and scope.
  • Ensure that the solution aligns with the IT ecosystem/architecture of the Department of Care.
  • Seek buy-in from all involved partners (such as general practitioners, professional associations, or other governments).
  • Be the first point of contact for supporting services and the DPO and CISO of the Department of Care.
  • Log and track work items in Jira.
  • Report to the steering committee.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are looking for someone mature and independent who is ready to take on responsibility and has experience in:

  • Functional analysis and methodically documenting requirements.
  • Managing (outsourced) IT projects.
  • The ecosystem for the digitalization of healthcare in Flanders/Belgium (e.g., basic services of the eHealth platform).

If you are ready to tackle technical and strategic challenges in a dynamic consultancy environment, apply today at Keystone Solutions Career Portal.
